Overview
Each year CCC participants are taken on a journey, exploring environmental issues of importance to us all. Topics cover living sustainably and how each of us can make a difference.

You will be exposed to issues and solutions while establishing valuable networks with other participants and presenters.
What goes on
Water is the life blood of every civilization. Participants are taken to the outer catchment that drains water through the Avon River that becomes the Swan River flowing through our capital city of Perth.
You will be given an insight into farming systems and the environmental issues that land managers face as well as some of the solutions being implemented.

Field trips are a vital part of the program. Site visits include:
  • farms
  • bushland
  • the Swan and Canning rivers
  • a University
  • waste recycling
  • the coast
  • wetlands
  Participants learn about
Natural Resource Management

Our Water Resources

Marine Life
Our Wildlife
Activities are varied and relevant. Participants receive an abundance of resource materials and valuable contacts in a wide range of environmental sectors.

The journey ends at our beautiful Western Australian coastline to complete the picture of Catchments, Corridors and Coasts.

Places are always limited so it is advisable to book early.
